Oxsott Village Bridge Club
Our duplicate bridge group has grown steadily over the past few years to a membership of 60, with 8 or more Tables played fairly regularly. We meet on Thursdays at 09.20 in the OVSC Clubhouse.

House rules
- We can now accommodate 11 tables.
- Membership of the group is limited to 60.
- A waiting list is in place for those wishing to join as vacancies arise.
- Potential new members will be put on the waiting list at the discretion of the Committee.
Attending a Session
We operate the ‘spare partner’ system; members just turn up when they wish to play. However we do ask people to arrive by 9.20am at the latest, to enable the organisers to do the final setting up and start play promptly at 9.30am. We normally play 24 hands during a session and finish at about 12.30. Members are able to make coffee or tea in between rounds, but there is no break for refreshments.
Twice a year we arrange a lunch after the Session and there will be a pre-booking list for those days.
Visitors are welcome by arrangement with members.
Our aim
We wish to maintain the present tone of friendly duplicate bridge for people aiming to improve their standard of play.
